GOOGLE CODE-IN

A Experience Of Winning Something In arguably The World’s Biggest Coding and Open Source Fest for the Youth. Yep……. You Guessed It……….. Its Fantastic.

My Experiences During This Year’s GCI

Let me Begin By Just Saying That This was my First Experience as Working For Different Organisations and now I've fallen in love by the tasks. I feel every Task Is Made For Me. From Being a Noob To learning some codes from my Friends To completing My tasks in this Website from Google I feel Than In Ninth I am Beginning To fulfil my Dreams of working with Google and I promise I will Participating for the next 3 years ( I’m 14 right now). I don’t know about the Previous Ones But I do hope the User Interface of The Website Would Better……….
Things I Learnt From This Experience Was Awesome :
  1. I learnt to work in a under pressure and a time Driven Environment
  2. I Learnt Never To Be Hasty.
  3. I learnt How To Deal With Various People and Improve Myself.
What I Did not like was the Time Period of 36 hours Given To Mentors. It should be 24 Hours Only.

My Favourite Task That I completed in the GCI
Old People Always Say That ‘ The First Experience Is Always The Sweetest’
This is True For Me As Well. I Did My First Task For Coala, In which I had to Create Accounts With a very Ultra unique usernames on websites Such As
  • GitHub,
  • Git Lab,
  • OpenHub
  • Behance, Among Others………..
Now, Doing This Task For Coala Again It Gives me Great Pleasure.
As Since The First Task I have Done Multiple Tasks for Multiple Organisations But I Did not Feel The Same friendliness Anywhere else then Coala…………..
From Looking for a Random Easy Task To Completing 2 For Coala I will be looking forward to doing more with Coala.

Hope This Helps

 DRUPAL (For Noobs)

What is DRUPAL? And How It Works...
So, Drupal is a free and open source content-management framework written in PHP and distributed under the GNU General Public License.Drupal provides a back-end framework for at least 2.3% of all web sites worldwide ranging from personal blogs to corporate, political, and government sites. Many Systems across the world Also use Drupal for Knowledge Management.
<What Does This Mean> This Means That Drupal Just Like GoDaddy Provides BackBone To Various Websites For Blogging Politics and Government Services. Through The Data We can Understand That 2.3% Of Websites of The World Are Powered By Drupal.

When And How Drupal Came To Be...

Originally written by Dries Buytaert as a message board, Drupal became an open source project in 2001.The name Drupal represents an English rendering of the Dutch word druppel, which means "drop" (as in a water droplet). The name came from the now-defunct Drop.org Web site, whose code slowly evolved into Drupal. Buytaert wanted to call the site "dorp" (Dutch for "village") for its community aspects, but mistyped it when checking the domain name and thought the error sounded better. Interest in Drupal got a significant boost in 2003 when it helped build "DeanSpace" for Howard Dean, one of the candidates in the U.S. Democratic Party's primary campaign for the 2004 U.S. presidential election. DeanSpace used open-source sharing of Drupal to support a decentralized network of approximately 50 disparate, unofficial pro-Dean websites that allowed users to communicate directly with one another as well as with the campaign. After Dean ended his campaign, members of his Web team continued to pursue their interest in developing a Web platform that could aid political activism by launching CivicSpace Labs in July 2004.
<What Does This Mean> Here We See How A Mistake By Creator Dries Named The Organisation What It Is Today. We Also See That That Though Founded Back In 2001 as a Message Board, It Got In THe LimeLight Only In 2003 When Drupal Built DeanSpace For Howard dean, Candidate Of the U.S. Democratic Party for The 2004 Elections. We see that after This Ended The Online Developers Of DeanSpace Developed a Web Platform That Aided Political Activism By Launching CivicSpace in 2004.
